What You Will Learn
This hands-on workshop will give marketing, publishing and graphics professionals a working knowledge of how to use Adobe InDesign anything from advertisements to newsletters and books. Class discussion and exercises teach you to —
- Specify page dimensions, margins and columns for a new document,
 - Create, move and resize elements,
 - Specify fill and stroke colors, and apply gradient fills,
 - Add colors to the color palette,
 - Set type specifications,
 - Import text and graphics,
 - Flow text from column to column and page to page,
 - Indent paragraphs and create bulleted lists,
 - Set tabs,
 - Create and apply master pages,
 - Wrap text around graphics,
 - Create and apply master pages,
 - Define and apply character and paragraph level text style definitions,
 - Use the Bezier drawing tools to create and modify shapes, and
 - Use the "Package" and "Preflight" commands to assemble and verify materials to be sent to the printer.

Prerequisites
