SELECTING CUSTOM COLORS.
Here is how you can choose a custom Pantone or Toyo color in Adobe Illustrator without scrolling through a list of hundreds of colors.
  1. Click the custom color icon in the Paint Style palette, and
  2. Type the number of the color you want

Illustrator will take you directly to that color in the list.
