MacInTouch.: A vertitable cornucopia of information about things Macintosh. Especially good for up-to-the-minute information about system updates, bug fixes and Macintosh news.

MacFixIt.: News updated daily on Macintosh software and hardware bugs, updates and workarounds.

Macworld's Top Tips.: Macworld called on 17 top Mac experts to come up with these 101 great ways to make your Mac and it's applications work more efficiently.

Conflict Compendium.: Quill Services listing of conflicts between various Macintosh software and different models of Macintosh computers. You can also submit conflict reports to their database.

ComputerWare's Macintosh Links.: A collection of several hundred links to Macintosh-related sites, including those of hardware manufacturers, software publishers, on-line magazines, Macintosh FTP sites and Macintosh User Groups.

Tech Info Library.: Apple's searchable database of articles in Apple's technical library. Topics can be located by keyword searches, or browsing a table of contents.

TidBITS.: This is the on-line edition of this independent Macintosh publication. Excellent for up-to-the-minute Macintosh industry news. You can also subscribe to the TidBITS mailing list and receive issues automatically by e-mail.

Novell Support Connection.: Novell's Macintosh support page, containing FAQs, files and patches, hints, tips and configuration help, and a searchable Technical Information Database.

Mark Sproul's Macintosh Pages.: Probably more technically-oriented than the other sources listed here, this site contains information about Macintosh PCI cards, Open Transport and other topics of interest to Macintosh developers.

System Software.: Discussion is mostly about the Macintosh operating system, although there are sometimes postings concerning hardware acceleration and general Macintosh topics (news:comp.sys.mac.system).

Hardware.: Miscellaneous. Group for discussion of various Macintosh models, system repairs and rumors concerning new Macintosh models (news:comp.sys.mac.hardware.misc).; Storage. Group for discussion of storage devices used with Macintosh computers (news:comp.sys.mac.hardware.storage).; Video. Mostly comparisons of monitors and video cards, some troubleshooting (news:comp.sys.mac.hardware.video).

Communications.: Place to discuss Macintosh communications issues, including modem comparisions, ISDN, ARA, Internet connectivity and related communications software (news:comp.sys.mac.comm).
