Advanced Flash Class

DESCRIPTION
This class explores features of Flash used to add interactivity, programmable results and sound to a Flash movie. Class discussion and exercises cover --
What a movie clip symbol is, what can be included in one, and when they should be used,
Use of the "Set Property" action to specify the position, size and other attributes of an instance of a symbol,
What variables are and how to use them, for example, to keep score in a game,
How to use the "If" function to program conditional actions in a movie,
When to use the "Tell Target" action and how to specify the target and designate the actions you want to send to the target,
How to use the "Drag Movie Clip" action to enable users to position symbols with the mouse,
Performing numerical calculations in Flash,
The creation of drop down menus, and
How to synchronize sounds with frames.

6 hours, $260 (available for Windows and Macintosh)
Purchase with Flash for discounted package price of $430.

PREREQUISITES
A working knowledge of Flash, including use of the timeline, creation of scenes and graphic and button symbols, and motion tweening. Familiarity with basic scripting concepts is also useful.
