Advanced Access Class

DESCRIPTION
This course is designed for business users of Access who want to learn how to automate and expand the capabilities of their databases. Class exercises teach you to --
Use logical functions to create conditional results in calculations,
Use text functions to generate custom messages based upon field values,
Create and use relationaships between tables,
Use relationships to create data entry lists that display as choices the entries in a table,
Use subforms to display in a form data from multiple records in a related table,
Automate repetitive tasks with macros,
Use validation tests to minimize data entry errors,
Use append, delete and make-table queries, and
Use Excel pivot tables to analyze data.

6 hours, $260 (available for Windows only)

PREREQUISITES
An understanding of fundamental database design principles, and how to create tables, forms, reports and queries in Access.
